Antinori Winery, opened in 2012, merges an innovative architecture with ancient traditions connected to wine production …and Antinori family knows these traditions very well as, in 14th Century, already produced some wines… this is the reason why it is just unique!
Built according to Marquis Piero Antinori‘s requests and designed by Archea, it has been built only with natural local materials, such as wood, terracotta, corten steel and glass observing both the surrounding breathtaking Chianti vineyards and the wine production needs. In fact, it has been built inside a hill to keep the best temperature and apply the best method to make wine, i.e. gravity.
It allows anyone to visit its cellars as well as its museum, vineyards and its most secret wine production area where all the secrets of Antinori wine are preciously kept.
